FEAR OF A BROWN PLANET

Fear of a Brown Planet

Fear of a Brown Planet

Fox in the Snow presents

• FEAR OF A BROWN PLANET
• EDINBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL 2011
• GILDED BALLOON – The Billiard Room
• 7.15pm (Ends 8.15pm)
• 3rd – 29th AUGUST 2011 (not 15th or 22nd)

After huge success at home, Award Winning Australian comedy duo Fear of a Brown Planet are making their much anticipated Edinburgh fringe debut.

Fear of a Brown Planet sees Aamer Rahman and Nazeem Hussain tackle the topics of immigration, race relations and the War on Terror in their trademark confrontational style, head on.

Not your average stand-up comedians, Fear of a Brown Planet, promises to bring audiences a distinct brand of thought-provoking political comedy, designed to entertain and aggravate in equal measures. Their anarchic take on politics and race, at home and abroad, both reflects on, and celebrates, the differences of growing up brown in white Australia whilst boldly tackling the delicate topic of Islam.

Leave your prejudice at the door.

“Intensely amusing political stuff, from a very different point of view” The Sunday Telegraph

“Just go see it – it’s extraordinary”  The Age

“Deliciously barbed comedy that cuts close to the bone” The Age, 2010

“This is bold comedy with an unbelievably powerful message, and totally unmissable” Beat Magazine 2010
