Following on from a highly successful debut last year, Matt Green is delighted to return to the fringe with his second solo show and brand new hour of laughs in Truth & Pleasure.

A high energy mix of jokes, stories, chat and fun, it's an hour of stand up comedy that is guaranteed to leave you with a massive grin on your face. A wise man once told Matt that the secret of great comedy was "truth and pleasure", so Matt is telling lots of hilarious true stories and is sure you'll enjoy them – in fact the audience will help to decide which stories he tells and what order they'll be in, so each show will be different. His preview show at the Brighton Fringe was a sell-out, five star success, so come and see what all the fuss is about.

A rising star of the comedy world, Matt appeared in Arthur Smith and Friends for Radio 4 at the Glastonbury Festival, performed at the Lyric Hammersmith alongside Richard Herring, Stephen Merchant and Chris Addison, and won second place at the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year Awards. He is resident MC for The 99 Club, and has appeared in many previous Edinburgh shows including his solo debut Grow Up Green, plus The Comedy Zone, BBC Stand Up Show, Best of So You Think You're Funny and Spank! His TV credits include Comedy Cuts, Comedy Lab, Comedy Showcase, Extras, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace and Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps . Radio credits include Inspector Steine, Ed Reardon's Week and Cabin Pressure .
