PRESS RELEASE
ANDY PARSONS
NATIONAL TOUR
AUTUMN 2007
From BBC 2's Mock the Week & Q.I, BBC Radio 2's Parsons and Naylor's Pull-Out Sections and star of The Comedy Store's 'Cutting Edge,' Andy Parsons brings his smash hit show for his first ever national tour onto the road this autumn. The tour kicks off on the 13th September at the Epsom Playhouse and continues until the 19th December in Farnham. Please see below for full tour details.
Andy’s delivery and style are unique and his jokes are clever, substantial and beautifully crafted. And very, very funny. This is political comedy without the leaflet, satire without the lecture, ridicule without the sanctimony - all brushed with a bit of showbiz glitter. You will leave fulfilled, enlightened and uplifted – not bad for an evening of politics!
Andy’s credentials are second to none. He was a main writer on the original Spitting Image and has performed on numerous TV shows including Saturday Live, The Stand Up Show, The Comedy Store, They think Its All Over and The Live Floor Show as well as completing nine series of the topical, satirical Radio 2 show with Henry Naylor Parsons and Naylor’s Pullout Sections. He has also performed all over the world at prestigious comedy festivals in Montreal, New Zealand, Australia and Kilkenny.

‘Inch-perfect comedy. With certain stand-ups, you can tell within seconds that they’re going to have the audience sitting up, purring in the palm of their hand. It is like this with the obscenely gifted Andy Parsons. Brilliantly lateral subversive observations on every topic of the day.’
