Triple Perrier Award Nominated Australian comedian Adam Hills, takes to the road this autumn with his total sell out show from The Edinburgh Fringe, Characterful.   The tour begins in Armargh on the 11th September and finishes in Cardiff on the 29th November.  Characterful is a celebration of all the little things in life, which go to make life interesting, and the sometime silly things, which stop life becoming bland.
Adam Hills is one of Australia's most talented and widely respected comedians. His unique style of positive, uplifting comedy and rampant spontaneity have won him universal acclaim, rave reviews, awards, and a legion of fans throughout Australia, Great Britain, Ireland, Europe - and recently in Canada and the US too.

Adam's solo shows have seen sell-outs at the Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival and the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival. He is a regular at the Montreal "Just for Laughs" Comedy Festival, and was the first Australian comedian to appear at the US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen 2005.

However it is at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival that Adam has truly made his mark. Totally sold-out every season from 2000 to 2004, three times nominated for the prestigious Perrier Award, winner of the inaugural Nokia Orange "Best of the Fest" Award in 2002, and the Forth One Fringe Award in 2003 - Adam has become one of the hottest attractions at the Fringe, selling over 10,000 tickets in 2004 alone.

Adam's British Television credits include "Never Mind The Buzzcocks", "Today With Des and Mel", "The BBC Stand Up Show", "The World Stands Up" and "The World Comedy Tour" which also screened internationally.  In Australia Adam hosts the TV music quiz show Spicks and Specks on ABC.  He has also appeared on "Rove Live", "The Glasshouse", "Good Morning Australia", hosted the 2003 "Just For Laughs" special from the Montreal Comedy Festival, and received widespread acclaim for his back-stage interviews at the 2005 & 2006 Logie Awards.
